Maps cannot be downloaded Frequent crashes No help!

The app itself is great. No complaints about the content or the layout at all. My only complaint so far is about the zoom feature. For some reason it rarely recognizing when I pinch to zoom in or out. It only recognizes that I have one finger on the map and instead opts to scroll instead of zoom.

Update will not download to iPad.

Great way to supplement info from Avalanche centers with real time info

Love using the Avanet platform to get insight into the backcountry. Its like having tons of cameras everywhere I want to venture.

Easy to check out recent snow observations in an area before planning a backcountry trip. As an avid backcountry skier, this app helps me avoid dangerous terrain.

As the community for backcountry grows so does this app. It lets all backcountry adventures work together to get the most up to date information.

I downloaded the original version which was great, although it was a little buggy at times. This new version is awesome, I havent had 1 crash and the battery performance is improved. Great job to the team that put this together for improving and responding so quickly.

I like the map and filters. But it Freezes and crashes often. Uses way too much battery power in the backcountry for navigation. Tracking works until it freezes and tracks you as you drive down the hwy!

Great new feature that allows me to sync up my routes from web to mobile and see where I am on my route!

Great for downloading wen route plans to mobile. In 5 languages. Easy tracking functionality. Lots of map layers to choose from. Tons of observation features. All year round app.

Best app Ive seen for following planned routes synced from the web and sharing your mountain observations. Really awesome update, keeps getting better and better!

Useful app for planning and following routes while keeping slope-angle, elevation and aspect in mind. Great for planning ski tours, mountaineering adventures, mtb rides, etc.

Avanet is a valuable route planning and decision making tool to add to your existing backcountry toolkit. The web version for desktop is even more full featured but dev gets closer and closer to feature parity all the time. Im very pleased with Avanet.
